SpicyBrainTest (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website spicybraintest.com. We provide free self-assessment quizzes for ADHD and Autism traits, along with follow-up educational content by email.

What we collect

Information you give us directly

• Your email address — collected when you take a quiz, so we can send you your results.
• Your quiz responses — the answers you provide when completing the ADHD or Autism self-assessments.

The tools we use

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate spicybraintest.com. When you use the site, these services may receive information about your visit:

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate patterns in how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, where traffic comes from, and so on. FluentCRM

We use FluentCRM to manage our email list and deliver quiz results and follow-up messages. FluentCRM runs on our own servers, so your email address and quiz responses stay within our control rather than being shared with a third-party mailing service. Your email engagement (opens, clicks) is tracked so we can improve our emails. You can unsubscribe from any email we send by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom.

WordPress and Quill Forms

The spicybraintest.com website is built on WordPress and uses Quill Forms to deliver the quizzes. These tools process your form submissions and may set basic session cookies required for the site to function.

Web hosting

Our website is hosted on servers that log standard technical information (IP address, request timestamps, pages requested) for security and performance purposes. These logs are retained briefly and are not combined with your personal data.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these specific circumstances:

• With service providers who help us operate the site (analytics, hosting, email delivery) — only the data they need to perform that service, and only under contracts that require them to protect your information.
• If required by law — for example, in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or government request.
• To protect rights and safety — if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, or harm to any person.
• If SpicyBrainTest is acquired — if the service is acquired by another entity, your information may transfer as part of that transaction. We would notify you before this happens.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information only as long as we have a reason to — typically:

• Email list data — until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
• Quiz responses — kept alongside your email record in FluentCRM so we can reference them if you contact us or if we add follow-up features. Deleted when you request deletion.
• Analytics data — aggregated and retained per Google Analytics’ default retention settings (currently 14 months for event-level data in our configuration).
• Server logs — typically 30 days or less.

Your choices and rights

Everyone

• Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your personal information.
• Correct inaccurate information we hold about you.

If you’re in California

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives California residents additional rights:

• The right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
• The right to request deletion of your personal information (subject to certain exceptions).
• The right to opt out of the “sale” of your personal information. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under CCPA.
• The right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights.

Our legal basis for processing your data is your consent (for email marketing and analytics) and our legitimate interest in operating the website and communicating with people who’ve chosen to take a quiz.

Children’s privacy

Spicybraintest.com is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and regular software updates. However, no method of transmission or storage on the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International visitors

SpicyBrainTest is based in California, USA. If you access the site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the site, you consent to this transfer.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through a notice on the site. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the updated policy.
